Feel More Loved
“I’ve never felt more loved by my husband and kids”
Words like these are the reason why I keep on doing what I’m doing. These are music to my ears. Before this, this mom client felt under-appreciated by her loved ones.
Everything that she was doing, both at work and at home, felt like they were tasks she needed to complete by the end of the day. And because of this, she needed something saved for herself by night. Chocolate bars and ice cream became her knights in armour.
Don’t get me wrong. She loves her family dearly.
It’s just that sometimes, she can get all worked up from all the chores and all the stress from work. but she can't afford to rest. Her family needs her.
It didn’t help that she knows she looks unkempt. At work, she tries her best to look good at least with make-up but the low energy, eye bags, and low confidence always show; she knows she can do much, much better. At home she tries to be the supermom everyone expects her to be but her body doesn’t always cooperate – most of the time she finds herself feeling lethargic to do anything fun with kids and anything “sexy” with her hubby.
And the worst part is – nobody seems to care how she feels. Not her kids who always want 100% of her time, not her husband who seem to wants 200% of her time, not the people at work who from time to time make fun of her eating habits and her increasing weight.
Then it started not getting funny anymore.
As she started to reach the obesity weight range,
She wonders what her kids’ future would be like:
Will she ever see them graduate college?
Watch them walk the aisle?
See their kids, her grandchildren?
Does her husband even think she’s still as attractive as when they first met?
Will she be able to keep her job for the long-term?
Maybe not, with all these scary stories she’s been reading about the serious health risks resulting from obesity.
So she joined several weight loss programs.
Tried expensive meal plans.
Followed tons of Instagram fitness celebrities.
Nothing seemed to work for more than 3 weeks.
Beyond that, she always finds herself going back to her unhealthy habits.
And back to being unloved, under-appreciated version of herself.
So came my scheduled phone call with her, that’s exactly what she told me – she feels like she needed more support and love.
So I asked her, from who? She answered from her family first and foremost.
While it’s not a wrong answer. I immediately retorted that she needs to love herself first and that she did a good job by getting on that phone call with me.
Because that was how and where the changes started to happen.
What quick fixes, Instagram fitness celebrities, and mainstream diet marketing won’t tell and lack, our team of fitness, nutrition, and psychology expert fills in.
And with the right knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as the guidance from me and the support with from all of my other VIP fat loss clients, she soon found herself THRIVING.
She loves herself more than ever. And this showed through her hard work and her amazing body transformation and transformation from being an under-appreciated woman to being a superwoman.
Her kids want 100% of her time? She’s now able to give more than that whenever she’s with them!
Her husband wants 200% of her time? It's obvious he also wants 200% of everything about and of HER now!
The people at work making fun at her? Wow, look who’s lining up for advices and #fatlosstips?!
More than these people and the circumstances showing that they appreciate her more now because she looks more attractive and is more capable,
What she learned and realised from this journey was the fact that her family never stopped loving her, and that she just needed to re-discover her love for herself to see it all.
