There’s a Huge Problem in the Fat Loss Industry

Dear Parents,

You see, busy men and women come to me for assistance for all sorts of challenges they face in their journey of losing their belly fat.

So why is it that despite having all sorts of information online, and despite tons of weight loss products endorsed by fitness gurus and toned celebrities, many still fail to attain the fit and healthy body that they want?

The reason is this: The DIET and FITNESS industries have a 95% failure rate with weight management.

Yes, you read that right, coming from a fat loss coach of 20 years.

QUICK FIX & CELEBRITY DIETS SET YOU UP TO FAIL EVERY SINGLE TIME:

? Every day, you’ll see a workout program being promoted by a celebrity — that’s just another quick-fix diet, that sets men and women up to fail.
? Every day, you’ll see fitness gurus create the next ‘detox tea’ that’s shipped from China.
? Every day, you’ll see thousands of pictures posted on Instagram from fitness models showing off their favourite supplements… When you can get all the nutrients you need from food!

But, this is only the beginning of the problem. Because in the first place, THERE’S A HUGE PROBLEM IN THE FAT LOSS INDUSTRY.

There are many ‘experts’ and trainers out there that have not invested in proper, full education on fitness and training. Many go through 8 to 30-hour lessons, pass a certification test and call themselves experts! Beware. Their lack of knowledge (compared to experts with more than 800 hours of education) can be dangerous.

For example, they may teach one thing that is trending (such as a particular diet) but may not work, or worse hurt and make you worse (such as Atkins diet).

Because of this, yo-yo diets continue to happen ?

It’s said that “By 2030, 86.3% of adults will be overweight and 51.1% obese.”

Yet, over the past ten years, the number of weight-loss products, services, gyms, and personal trainers has increased by 800%.

Why?

Is it because ketogenic diets don’t work?

Is it because cardio doesn’t work?

Is it because calorie deficits and restrictive diets don’t work.

YES!!!! Well, some may argue that they work (they do).. but what happens when you go off these diets? Most of them would agree that if their willpower is low, they would only work in the short term. Read – Unsustainable.

The cause of this epidemic is that we live in a society conditioned to believe that quick fixes work.

We live in a society where people have long forgotten that achieving goals in life is driven on the backbone of grit, persistence, and hard work.

And ESPECIALLY FOR PARENTS LIKE YOU, we have been conditioned to believe that there is ‘an easier way’.

And, in a desperate attempt to find something easier, we try every single new quick-fix diet out there which sets us up for failure every single time.

Parents not only get fatter and fatter each time they do these diets, but they also end up with poor sleep, hormonal issues, binge eating, digestive issues, low sex drive, erratic moods and zero energy.

Think about this for a second.

As a busy parent, at one point in your life, you realise that you’re getting fatter and so you try various diet programs only to keep failing after failing.

I’m in the diet and fitness industry myself. The difference is, I know what’s bound to succeed and what’s bound to fail.

Fitness companies who thrive on money will not dare to expose such 95% failure rate statistics.

What makes me part of the 5%?

I don’t thrive on my clients’ motivation and willpower.

I always ask them what will happen to them and to their family 5, 10, perhaps 20 years from now.

The picture will get them started, and keep them going. And we place DOABLE habits, systems and routines into their lifestyle such that they will THRIVE as they lose the tummy fat.

Whereas motivation will fade once you’ve lost it once.

My clients and I myself have gone through what you’re experiencing right now:

? You feel a sense of guilt every time you fail one diet after another
? But then you keep on moving forward on to other traditional weight loss models, sometimes going back to the same diet program that failed you, HOPING that one day, you will succeed.

YOU WON’T.

But of course, it’s not your fault.

We are living in a world where anyone can be a celebrity or an “influencer” in millennial terms. Thousands of people follow a certain diet fad or claim a celebrity’s or influencer’s detox tea working so our immediate response is that “Hey if this worked for them, this might work for me too!”

In a world of likes, hearts, and wows – you cannot blame yourself for wanting to be recognised and appreciated, even for just a short while.

Especially after all you’ve sacrificed just to be able to provide food on the table and make your kids smile. You cannot blame yourself because PEOPLE will ALWAYS JUDGE, no matter what you do. So you just try at least to make an impression, relying on crash diets and weight loss programs THAT ARE BOUND TO FAIL AND ARE DESIGNED TO FAIL YOU FOR THE BUCKS.

THE REASON WHY YOU FAIL IS BECAUSE YOU ARE SET UP TO FAIL

And, do you know who profits from all of this?

The companies and celebrities making billions of dollars sold from supplements, products, gym memberships, e-books, training programs, pills, potions, creams, and the list goes on and on.

If you’re like me, you would have experienced all of these many times over.

LET’S GET BACK TO THAT QUESTION: WHY IS IT WITH SO MUCH PROFOUND KNOWLEDGE ON THE INTERNET, WE DO WE STILL FAIL?
